A cerimónia dos MTV European Music Awards 2015 realizou-se na cidade italiana de Milão e contou com a apresentação de Ed Sheeran e Ruby Rose. Apesar da habitual passadeira vermelha, ficaram a faltar muitas estrelas, incluindo algumas das personalidades nomeadas. Justin Bieber foi o grande vencedor da noite, arrecadando cinco prémios, entre os quais "Melhor Artista Masculino" e "Maiores Fãs".
As restantes estatuetas foram para Nicki Minaj ("Melhor Artista Hip Hop"), One Direction ("Melhor Artista Pop"), Rihanna ("Melhor Artista Feminina"), Lana Del Rey ("Melhor Grupo Alternativo") e Taylor Swift ("Melhor Música", por Bad Blood com Kendrick Lamar).
Entre os artistas que subiram ao palco contam-se Ed Sheeran, Ellie Goulding, Andrea Bocelli e Pharrel Williams.
